Run Charleston real estate at the Ultra Chili 10x5K and 5K.Get moving on Charleston real estate. Ready? Set? Go! It’s time for the third annual Ultra Chili 10x5K and 5K at Laurel Hill County Park. A multi-loop course winds through regal moss covered trees creating a serene atmosphere filled with motivation. Spurred on by a supportive ambiance participants are moving and grooving. Race day is Saturday, November 18th with participants lining up and ready to go at the starting line for a 7 a.m. sound off for the 10x5K and 9 a.m. for the 5K. Individual contestants go for personal bests while groups work on team building and memory making. After the award ceremony celebrants take part in a fun filled after party. Hearty appetizers will be satisfied with robust chili from Ladles and chicken and waffles from Kickin’ Chicken.

Racing teams are composed of two to four members. Running order is determined by individual teams. Each unit must have a single manager. Water stations are placed every mile and a half on the course and stocked with gatorade, gels and water. Runners are also strongly recommended to carry their own water bottle. All 10x5K finishers will be awarded a participation medal. Other accolades will be given for top five fastest male and female times, top Masters male and female participants and top 2/3/4 person relay team.

Laurel Hill County Park is easily found at 1400 N. Highway 41 in Mount Pleasant. Those experiencing the park for the first time will definitely want to plan a trip back to this recreational gem. Close to Charleston homes, hundreds of acres contain miles of hiking, biking and walking trails. Visitors meander through gorgeous natural settings.
