Enjoy bluegrass music near Charleston homes at the Harvest Festival.Halloween may be over, but folks in Charleston homes can still celebrate autumn and the harvest season. Come to Johns Island County Park on Saturday, November 4th for the annual Harvest Festival. The festivities run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $12 for everyone 13 and older. Kids 12 and younger enter for free, as do Gold Pass holders. Come hungry and get a plate of real Carolina barbecue, kettle corn, and other festival treats. Quench your thirst with an ice-cold beverage. Vendors will be selling their wares at the Charleston real estate location. This is a perfect opportunity to support local artists and businesses while getting some holiday shopping done.

Children from Charleston Homes Enjoy Games and Crafts at the Festival

Kids will have a blast at the many different activities. They can decorate pumpkins, enjoy a hayride, or go penny diving. There will also be a stick pony corral, crafts, archery, and other activities. It’s a perfect time for family fun and a relaxing weekend.

Music lovers from Charleston homes will especially enjoy the live bluegrass music. Five different bands will fill the air with the sounds of banjos, guitars, and fiddles. Music will begin at noon. A new band will take the stage every hour from noon until 4 p.m.

A new event has been added to the Harvest Festival schedule. Kids eight to 17 will be able to compete in the Turkey Day Shoot Competition. No turkeys will be harmed in the target-shooting competition. The male and female overall winners will take home a frozen turkey. The competition runs from 1 to 5 p.m.
